What You'll Do
- Design and implement core components for managing distributed computing resources
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve system efficiency and scalability
- Develop algorithms that optimize resource allocation under variable load conditions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across global data centers
- Contribute to capacity planning by forecasting resource needs based on traffic trends
- Work closely with network engineering to align resource distribution with routing policies
- Build automated tools to detect and respond to resource imbalances
- Ensure fault tolerance and redundancy in resource scheduling systems
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of software quality
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C++, Go, or similar systems programming languages
- Experience with distributed systems and concurrency models
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and transport protocols
- Proven ability to debug complex, multi-layered systems
- Knowledge of performance analysis and optimization techniques
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Bonus Points
- Experience with real-time scheduling systems
- Background in operating system resource management
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with machine learning for predictive scaling
- Prior work with large-scale CDN or edge computing platforms
