About the Role
The counselor will deliver clinical services via telehealth to individuals and families, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and ensure compliance with state and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and family therapy sessions using secure telehealth platforms
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Participate in supervision and team meetings
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements
- Support client engagement and retention in treatment
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Coordinate care with external providers when appropriate
- Respond to client communications within established timeframes
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning
- Maintain punctuality for scheduled appointments
- Uphold ethical standards in all professional interactions
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Follow organizational policies and procedures
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new clinicians
- Participate in performance evaluations
- Address client feedback professionally
- Stay current with clinical best practices
- Support a culturally responsive practice environment

- Experience with trauma-informed care

Compensation
