BrowserStack is looking for a Software Engineer: Fullstack to build and scale our platform. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team accountable for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, working across front-end and back-end codebases.

What You'll Do

Research new technologies and adapt them to BrowserStack requirements.
Partner with external stakeholder project teams to gather functional, non-functional, and business requirements.
Use and understand code from Open Source projects.

What We're Looking For

B.Tech or M.Tech equivalent with at least 6 months - 2 years of experience.
Experience with any back-end language (Ruby on Rails is a plus) and SQL and NoSQL DB systems.
Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery and at least one JavaScript framework such as Angular or React.
Good hands-on experience in at least one of Ruby, Nodejs, Python, or Javascript.
Familiar with Agile methodologies and have a good UX sense.
Past experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Experience with version control tools like Git.
Good understanding of client-side development.
Strong attention to detail and ability to rapidly iterate on product/platform features.
Analytical mind with aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and work with global business and technical teams.
Startup mentality, high willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.

Nice to Have

Experience as a UI developer is a huge plus.
Past experience in startups is a huge plus.
