JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring a Software Engineer II for the Consumer and Community Banking team. In this role, you will be part of an agile team focused on designing, enhancing, and delivering secure, stable, and scalable software components for the firm’s technology products.
What You'll Do
- Execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot with consideration for upstream and downstream system implications
- Apply tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve automation value
- Perform technical troubleshooting to solve problems of basic complexity
- Analyze large, diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure application development decisions
- Learn and apply system processes and methodologies for developing secure code and systems
- Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
What We're Looking For
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience
- Extensive experience in C#, .Net, REST web services, and Angular 7+
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JQuery
- Proficiency with OOPS and Design principles
- Expertise in writing clean, secure, and refactored code
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Test Driven Development
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases like SQL and MongoDB
- Proficiency with Git or similar source code management tools
- Creative problem-solving skills for complex, time-critical issues
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with public cloud offerings like AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Spinnaker
