The Software Engineer will develop cloud-managed intercom systems, taking ownership of mobile applications from concept to deployment. This role involves close collaboration with firmware, mobile, and frontend engineers in a fast-moving, startup-like environment. The engineer will lead technical direction, drive product development, and contribute to scalable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance cloud-managed intercom systems
- Work closely with firmware, mobile, and frontend engineers to improve intercom products
- Take product concepts from early stages to full implementation
- Own the entire lifecycle of mobile applications
- Lead technical planning and execution of engineering projects
- Partner across disciplines to design complex, low-latency systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related scientific field
- At least 7 years of professional experience in mobile software engineering
- Minimum of 2 years as a mobile engineer at a fast-growing startup or innovative technology company
- Deep knowledge of Swift and the iOS SDK
- Proven experience writing multi-threaded and asynchronous code
- Experience integrating with backend server APIs
- Strong skills in user interface development
- Strong experience writing unit tests
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategy and manage project execution
- Experience working across teams to build complex, latency-sensitive systems
- Track record of delivering major software products
- Demonstrates ownership mindset, solving issues beyond immediate team scope

Compensation
Annual base salary between $200,000 and $300,000 USD. Eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs). Discretionary bonuses and sales incentives may apply based on role.
