Verkada is seeking a Software Engineer to build cloud-managed intercom systems. You'll join a small, dynamic team considered a startup within a startup, working alongside firmware, mobile, and frontend engineers with significant ownership and autonomy.

What You'll Do

Take a less-than-fully-fleshed-out product idea and drive it to completion.
Own mobile applications end-to-end.
Drive technical direction and lead teams on project execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally to design complex and latency sensitive systems.

What We're Looking For

A BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or science.
7+ years of industry mobile software engineering experience.
2+ years of professional experience as a mobile engineer at a rapidly growing startup or innovative company.
In-depth understanding of Swift and iOS SDK.
Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
Experience working with backend server APIs.
Strong UI development skills.
Strong unit testing skills.
A history of shipping significant products.
