This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable iOS applications that support millions of daily transactions. The engineer will play a key role in advancing the mobile experience by delivering secure, high-performing, and intuitive features on iOS platforms through close collaboration with product, design, and quality assurance teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex mobile features for iOS platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and high-quality software products.
- Architect and build scalable and maintainable mobile applications.
- Improve application performance and refine user experience across devices.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues in production and development environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C for iOS development.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous and multi-threaded programming.
- Experience implementing animations and translating UI/UX designs into functional interfaces.
- Knowledge of software design patterns including MVC and MVVM.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
- Solid understanding of Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Background in mobile payment systems and related integrations.

Compensation
Base pay range: $176,500 - $262,350 annually, depending on location and experience. Equity may be included as part of total compensation. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus and other incentives.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid work model based in San Jose, California: 3 days per week in office, 2 days remote (either from home or office), supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
