As a Software Engineer, you will lead the architecture and implementation of end-to-end testing frameworks that ensure reliability, performance, and security across complex, cloud-native applications.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and execution of automated test strategies for distributed systems, with emphasis on RESTful and WebSocket APIs.
- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using modern tools like Playwright, Cypress, or WebDriverIO with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Define and drive quality standards across CI/CD pipelines, working closely with development, DevOps, and design teams.
- Architect performance, load, and security testing strategies to validate system behavior under real-world conditions.
- Mentor QA and software engineers, fostering a culture where quality is a shared responsibility.
- Apply deep knowledge of cloud platforms—especially AWS and Kubernetes—to test and validate deployment integrity and scalability.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in test automation and recommend strategic improvements to tooling and processes.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying test automation solutions for enterprise-scale systems.
- Proficiency with test frameworks and automation patterns such as Page Object Model and Data-Driven Testing.
- Strong experience with cloud-native environments and testing strategies for microservices and distributed architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality initiatives and mentor technical teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- US Citizenship required to meet security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating quality tooling into developer workflows to enable early testing.
- Familiarity with frontend and backend frameworks including React, Angular, Vue, Express, or Next.js.
- A passion for continuous improvement in test coverage, efficiency, and developer experience.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a salary range of $120,000–$140,000, with eligibility for 401(k) matching, fully covered healthcare, vision, and dental. Additional benefits include unlimited PTO, 11 paid holidays, education and training support, and referral bonuses.
