SageCor Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer (SWE-3) to contribute to programs and contracts of significant scope and complexity. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for programs of significant scope.
- Build and maintain containerized services using technologies like Docker, containerd, and Kubernetes.
- Develop scripts and software using Bash and Python 3.x.
- Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and integrate messaging frameworks like RabbitMQ.
- Implement and manage deployments using Helm Charts and Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI.
What We're Looking For
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE.
- OR Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE.
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools.
- Experience developing scripts using Bash.
- Recent Python (3.x) software development experience.
- Experience with Rust programming concepts, or a willingness and aptitude to learn Rust.
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes.
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ.
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI.
- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible.
- Experience using the Git Source Control System.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence.
