LinkedIn is looking for a Salesforce Software Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high‑quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will work across frontend and backend development using Salesforce technologies, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, translate business needs into technical designs, and contribute to modern, AI‑powered customer experiences.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces aligned with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
- Develop backend logic, integrations, and APIs using Apex, REST/SOAP services, and platform events.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and SFDC Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in release management.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to ongoing system improvements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Experience developing software on the Salesforce platform.
- Experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, APIs, testing).
- Experience in Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce.
- Experience in Cursor / Agentforce Vibe Coding.
Nice to Have
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I / II, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce Specialist).
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, or AI-driven features.
- Experience with integration platforms (Boomi, ETL tools).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
