F5 is hiring a Software Development Engineer Intern for our Summer Internship Program in Seattle, WA. You will join talented engineers to design and build scalable systems that help keep the digital world safe. What You'll Do
- Contribute to real-world projects and the development cycle of products that meet team goals.
- Work with peers to design, implement, and test code in a collaborative environment.
- Help analyze requirements, test features, and integrate components into applications.
- Assist with creating technical documentation for designs and new features.
- Participate in design and code reviews to learn best practices and ensure quality.
- Collaborate with your project team to explore and develop data-driven solutions.
What We're Looking For
- In the process of completing a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
- Be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States.
- Demonstrated experience programming in an object-oriented language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C#, C).
- Demonstrated knowledge in computer science fundamentals (e.g., Data Structures and Algorithms).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Systems & Scripting (e.g., Linux, Shell scripting).
- Experience with Infrastructure & DevOps (e.g., CI/CD automation, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Research & Applications (e.g., AI/ML).
