Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to ensure the quality and reliability of our complex, cloud-native applications. In this remote role, you will focus on building and maintaining robust automation frameworks to enable fast, reliable software releases across Web, Mobile, API, and cloud platforms.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, API, and cloud applications.
- Develop and execute automated tests for functional, integration, regression, and performance scenarios.
- Automate testing for native and hybrid mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms.
- Validate cloud-native applications deployed on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
- Automate API endpoint validation, microservices testing, and contract testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimize cloud-based execution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual testers to define automation strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and continuously enhance automation frameworks for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of QA automation experience across Web, Mobile, API, and cloud platforms.
- Expertise in UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with Mobile automation using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Strong proficiency with API automation tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Experience testing microservices architectures and ensuring seamless API integration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in programming languages for test automation such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration for automated test suites.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB) and performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
- Experience with AI-driven testing tools or Gen AI-based automation solutions.
- Healthcare or PBM domain knowledge.
