Every is hiring a freelance Senior Software Developer to evolve FRONTEX's critical training management platform. This is a strategic, long-term role focused on modernizing Microsoft and .NET-based systems, requiring technical leadership and deep collaboration on a key European digital transformation project.
What You'll Do
- Migrate existing SharePoint 2019 systems to SharePoint Subscription.
- Redesign Microsoft-based solutions to operate independently of SharePoint.
- Design and develop new features for the enterprise training management platform.
- Create prototypes and new applications based on the Product Backlog.
- Optimize performance, security, and accessibility, including screen reader testing.
- Produce comprehensive technical and user documentation.
- Report development progress, estimate effort, and define development standards.
- Collect and interpret software metrics.
- Train administrators in the use of the applications.
- Perform corrective, adaptive, and preventive maintenance of .NET systems.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support.
- Update software and fix vulnerabilities.
- Maintain technical documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate in defining requirements for adaptive maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- Freelance professional status.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Angular, .NET, and SharePoint.
- Participation in at least 2 ICT projects focused on knowledge management, workflows, and business processes.
- Experience developing corporate-level enterprise systems.
- Involvement in at least one full software development lifecycle.
- Design and development of data, business logic, and presentation layers (UI).
- Working knowledge of UML.
- Experience working in Scrum / Agile environments.
- Ability to lead technical teams.
- Skilled in documenting technical solutions clearly and structurally.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- University degree in ICT.
- Advanced certification in relevant software development technologies.
- English language proficiency at B2 level (Common European Framework), validated by certificate or test.
