The City of Port Washington Parks and Recreation Department is hiring a Soccer Instructor. You will teach soccer skills to children in a structured program, focusing on safety and active participation. This role operates under the direction and supervision of the Head Soccer Coach.
What You'll Do
- Teach soccer rotations as directed by the Head Soccer Coach.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every child in the program.
- Lead warm-ups, skills demonstrations, and drills.
- Perform regular safety checks to maintain a safe play environment.
- Help to set up and break down activity stations and equipment.
- Arrive 15 minutes before the first scheduled class to review lesson plans and stations.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum age of 14 years old.
- A mature, responsible individual with a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
- Genuine enjoyment of working with children.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience playing or coaching soccer.
Team & Environment
You will work under the direct supervision of the Head Soccer Coach.

This is an onsite position located in Port Washington, WI.
