About the Role
The position is responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery of SOC 2 compliance efforts, aligning stakeholders, managing timelines, and ensuring adherence to defined frameworks and controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution for SOC 2 compliance initiatives
- Coordinate with internal teams to implement required controls and documentation
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Track progress against milestones and report on status to leadership
- Identify risks and dependencies impacting compliance timelines
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between IT, security, and operations
- Ensure alignment with SOC 2 Type II requirements
- Manage documentation workflows for audit readiness
- Serve as primary point of contact for compliance-related project updates
- Work with external auditors to provide necessary project artifacts
- Drive remediation efforts for control gaps identified during assessments
- Maintain a centralized project tracker for all compliance activities
- Oversee evidence collection processes across departments
- Ensure consistent communication of project expectations and deadlines
- Support policy and procedure updates to meet compliance standards
- Conduct regular project review meetings with stakeholders
- Monitor control effectiveness and implementation timelines
- Translate technical requirements into project tasks
- Escalate roadblocks impacting project delivery
- Maintain compliance project documentation
- Ensure project scope aligns with audit objectives

- Verify completion of assigned action items by team leads
