Devexperts is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a team that develops and supports a few big trading platforms. You will be responsible for maintaining high availability, automating release and deploy processes, and implementing robust monitoring and alerting for solutions that provide market access to end users globally.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with developers to prototype and design new infrastructure features.
- Deploy, install, configure, and maintain sophisticated Trading and Finance software.
- Configure bare metal instances using Infrastructure as Code.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Make key decisions for scalability, reliability, and accessibility.
- Install and manage in-house developed and external monitoring systems.
- Design, deploy, and configure cloud-based servers and networks, provision servers and storage, and configure firewalls, VPN, and monitoring.
- Administrate UNIX infrastructure – installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Work with Nexus and GIT repositories.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in the field.
- Experience as an SRE or DevOps engineer.
- Strong experience with OS-level administration on Linux and/or UNIX.
- Experience with IAAS solutions using Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Experience with Docker container orchestration (OpenShift/Hashicorp).
- Ability to read and analyze errors.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and the ISO/OSI stack.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Zabbix, Elasticsearch or Opensearch, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Experience working with Apache, Nginx, HAproxy, Envoy, etc.
- Administration of UNIX infrastructure – installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Experience configuring instances using Infrastructure as Code.
- English level not lower than B2.
Nice to Have
- Experience with support of JVM applications (garbage collection, memory leaks).
- Software development experience.
- Hands-on scripting experience with Bash, Python, and/or Groovy.
- Experience configuring TeamCity CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong ability to solve problems using code and scripting.
