NTT DATA is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and infrastructure. As a seasoned subject matter expert, you will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance system resiliency, automate processes, and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Monitor system health and metrics to identify and respond to incidents promptly, diagnosing issues and restoring services.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline deployments and configuration management.
- Optimize system resources and configurations to enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and conduct thorough post-incident analysis.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code principles and drive the adoption of self-healing systems and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams to forecast capacity needs and ensure system scalability.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency and system reliability through process enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Seasoned hands-on experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role or related position, designing and maintaining highly available systems.
- Seasoned technical expertise in Linux/Unix systems, networking, and system administration.
- Seasoned proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
- Seasoned knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their services.
- Seasoned proven expertise with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
- Seasoned experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Seasoned understanding of complex, scalable infrastructure architectures and DevOps principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Seasoned understanding of security principles and compliance requirements.
Nice to Have
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
