The Site Reliability Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based Enterprise Imaging systems. This position bridges the gap between development and operations by applying engineering principles to infrastructure and operations problems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building resilient systems, automating operational tasks, and driving incident response improvements. They will work closely with development teams to ensure services are designed for reliability and operational excellence, while also contributing to long-term architectural strategies. This role requires a strong foundation in cloud technologies, scripting, and system design, along with a proactive mindset toward identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact service availability.
Responsibilities
- Develop software tools to enhance cloud operations and streamline deployment processes
- Lead the design and execution of automated cloud operations using various technologies
- Establish and implement standardized cloud operations procedures
- Build and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure
- Support incident triage, resolution, and post-mortem analysis as part of on-call rotation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience managing cloud infrastructure and deployed applications in enterprise SaaS or PaaS environments on public clouds such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or similar
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environment management, or Terraform-based infrastructure as code
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud networking, security practices, centralized logging, and monitoring systems
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
