Ag is hiring a Senior Simulation Software Engineer to join the team in Getafe. You will be a key contributor to the Future Capability Business, taking part in the definition and implementation of complex simulation architectures. The role requires close coordination with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners within an international, Agile environment.

What You'll Do

Design the architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities.
Develop simulation models representing aircraft equipment within the simulation environment.
Implement software modules, primarily using C++.
Create and perform unit tests for software modules using C++ and Python.
Build tools to improve development processes, such as code generators.
Perform integration testing.
Travel occasionally, mainly within the European Union.

What We're Looking For

A degree or master's degree in Software, Aeronautical, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related discipline.
More than 7 years of overall experience as a Software Engineer or Architect.
A proven, hands-on track record in simulation and software systems engineering.
Excellent, negotiation-level English language skills.
Excellent software development skills.

Nice to Have

Project management skills.
Experience in the aviation, simulation, or defence industry.
Experience with Virtual, Mixed, or Augmented Reality.
Experience with Artificial Intelligence.
Experience with Machine Learning or Reinforcement Learning.
Experience with Virtual Engineering.
Experience with Unreal Engine or other Image Generators.
Experience with languages such as Go.
Contributions to Open Source projects (please include a link to your GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab profile).
