Ag is looking for a Simulation Software Engineer to join its team in Getafe. You will take part in the definition and implementation of complex simulation architectures for the Future Capability Business, working in a collaborative international environment.
What You'll Do
- Design the architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities
- Develop simulation models representing aircraft equipment
- Implement software modules, mainly using C++
- Create and perform unit tests for software modules in C++ and Python
- Create tools to improve development processes, such as code generators
- Perform integration testing
- Travel abroad occasionally, primarily within the EU
What We're Looking For
- A degree (or Master's) in Software, Aeronautical, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related discipline
- Hands-on, proven track record in simulation and software systems engineering
- Excellent, negotiation-level English
- Excellent skills in software development
Nice to Have
- Experience in the aviation, simulation, or defence industry
- Contribution to Open Source projects (with a link to your Github, Bitbucket, or Gitlab profile)
- Experience with Virtual, Mixed, or Augmented Reality
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence
- Experience with Machine Learning or Reinforce Learning
- Experience with Virtual Engineering
- Experience with Unreal Engine or other Image Generators
- Experience with languages like Go
