About the Role

The Simulation Engineer will be responsible for creating and refining simulations to support various engineering initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure simulations are accurate and efficient, and to provide valuable insights for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate simulations for complex systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate simulation results into product development.
  • Optimize simulation models to improve performance and accuracy.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses to understand the impact of design changes.
  • Document simulation processes and results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on simulation tools and techniques.
  • Stay updated with the latest simulation technologies and industry trends.
  • Ensure simulations comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss simulation progress and findings.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in simulation models.
  • Create reports and presentations to communicate simulation outcomes.
  • Work with data scientists to integrate simulation data with other data sources.
  • Develop and maintain simulation databases and repositories.
  • Contribute to the development of simulation best practices and guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of simulation software and tools.
  • Conduct research to enhance simulation methodologies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with external partners on simulation projects.
  • Provide input on the selection and procurement of simulation software and hardware.
  • Support the development of simulation training programs for new hires.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of simulation data.
  • Provide feedback on simulation-related documentation and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of simulation-based training materials.

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based simulation platforms.
  • Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) for simulations.
  • Experience with simulation-based optimization algorithms.
  • Knowledge of simulation-based reliability and durability analysis.

What You'll Need

  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
