Job Summary:
Execute installation, on-demand/scheduled service, and training for industrial and customer-specific application machines. Position involves daily automotive travel with frequent overnight stays, typically 1-6 driving hours daily.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety regulations and complete related training
- Accurately document daily service activities and expenses
- Diagnose complex equipment issues and develop strategic solutions
- Interpret technical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Provide technical support and training
- Manage service call scheduling
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems
- Coordinate customer pre-installation meetings
- Maintain professional customer relationships
- Communicate critical information to stakeholders
- Identify upgrade opportunities
- Design training programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports
Qualifications:
- High School/Technical Degree
- 4-5 years transferable experience
- Electrical/Mechanical/PLC background
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Preferred: Professional electrical/mechanical/automation courses
