As a Siemens PLM Solution Architect, you will shape the strategic direction of product lifecycle management systems across the enterprise. Your primary responsibility is to design robust, future-ready PLM architectures using Siemens Teamcenter, Active Workspace, and integrated platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive PLM solution blueprints, including data models, integration frameworks, and system configuration strategies
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable system designs
- Lead architectural governance, conduct gap analyses, and guide deployment activities across on-premise and cloud environments
- Oversee Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and hybrid implementations on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Siemens SaaS
- Support configuration teams with BMIDE, workflows, access controls, and data structuring
- Design and implement integrations between Teamcenter and CAD tools (NX, Solid Edge, CATIA, Creo), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), MES/MOM, ALM, and simulation environments
- Define API strategies using REST, SOA, and T4x frameworks to enable seamless data exchange
- Establish standards for PLM governance, lifecycle management, and system compliance
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous evaluation
- Lead technical workshops and collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to align on roadmap priorities
- Serve as a trusted advisor on digital thread evolution and long-term PLM ecosystem strategy
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least eight years of hands-on experience in Siemens Teamcenter architecture or technical leadership roles. Proficiency in 4-tier architecture, Active Workspace, and Rich Client environments is essential. Demonstrated experience with BMIDE, workflow design, and data modeling is required, along with a solid grasp of integration frameworks such as T4S and T4O.
You should have working knowledge of CAD, ERP, and MES integrations, and experience supporting cloud or hybrid PLM deployments. Familiarity with digital thread, digital twin, BOM management, and change control processes is critical. Strong communication skills are necessary to lead technical discussions and simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Preferred candidates will have exposure to Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments, direct experience with digital thread implementation, and relevant Siemens certifications. Background in engineering disciplines or industries such as aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, or medical devices is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits
This position offers an annual salary range of $187,000–$197,000 or an hourly rate of $102–$112, depending on experience, skills, and location. Both full-time and contract roles include paid time off.
Work is fully remote with flexibility to operate from any U.S. location.
