Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize Shopify store settings and configurations
- Manage product data entry, updates, and synchronization
- Troubleshoot technical issues affecting store performance
- Support integration of third-party apps and APIs
- Ensure data accuracy across inventory, pricing, and order systems
- Monitor backend performance metrics and system health
- Implement workflow improvements for backend operations
- Collaborate with development teams on custom feature rollouts
- Maintain documentation for backend processes and configurations
- Assist in migration or updates to Shopify infrastructure
- Enforce data security and access control protocols
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align backend capabilities with business needs
- Perform regular audits of product listings and metadata
- Optimize backend structures for scalability
- Support order management and fulfillment system integrations
- Respond to backend-related support tickets
- Ensure compliance with platform policies and best practices
- Manage user roles and permissions within the Shopify admin
- Track and report on backend operational KPIs
