Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee incoming and outgoing shipments across warehouses, third-party logistics providers, and distribution networks.
- Ensure all shipments are processed, documented, and dispatched according to schedule.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively address delays, exceptions, or logistical discrepancies.
- Keep precise records of shipping documents, tracking details, and inventory movements.
- Accurately enter shipping data into logistics systems and spreadsheets.
- Support reconciliation of shipments and resolution of related issues.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments, warehouse staff, and logistics partners on shipment status and updates.
- Escalate operational problems that could affect delivery timelines or fulfillment accuracy.
- Provide support to leadership in merchandise planning or supply chain operations with reporting and shipment visibility.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data for shipping performance and operational metrics.
- Identify and suggest improvements to enhance shipping efficiency and streamline processes.
