HII is looking for a Part-Time Remote SharePoint Developer II to support the AFIT Scientific Test & Analysis Techniques (STAT) Center of Excellence (CoE). You will assess, develop, and maintain technical solutions to enhance the Product Flow Process (PFP) using Power Platform and SharePoint, working within U.S. Air Force network constraints.
What You'll Do
- Assess the Product Flow Process (PFP) implementation and recommend updates and changes.
- Perform full Power Platform application development.
- Design SharePoint architecture and build workflows using Power Automate.
- Work within US Air Force network access and limitations.
- Integrate with the STAT CoE team to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that would interrupt system usage.
- Communicate decisions, timelines, software failures, and successes to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate prototype front-end and back-end processes and provide user training.
- Utilize existing lists and functions to update or rebuild the Product Flow Process.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing solutions, and automate workflows.
- Manage document tracking, access, metadata, and lists.
- Design and develop custom applications to streamline UI/UX and back-end processes.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Test and validate solutions before implementation and develop test plans.
- Troubleshoot issues independently and develop new functions and workflows.
- Utilize users for testing and feedback.
- Create long-term support and maintenance documentation, including clear workflow diagrams and maintenance plans for non-developers.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience with PowerApps, SharePoint Online, Lists, Libraries, Permissions, and Power Automate.
- Previous experience working with government SharePoint restrictions and firewalls.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 0 years with a Master’s degree; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Power BI development experience.
- Experience with SPFx (SharePoint Framework).
