Nasstar is hiring a ServiceNow Senior Developer responsible for the ongoing development and administration of our ServiceNow enterprise application. Your work will ensure functionality aligns with business objectives and delivers value to stakeholders while maintaining a scalable, secure, and efficient platform.
What You'll Do
- Support the configuration, customization, and optimization of ServiceNow across the CSM, ITSM, SPM, ITOM, and AI Assist stack.
- Work on regular development sprints, delivering best-practice functionality while avoiding unnecessary customization and technical debt.
- Ensure development is compliant with regulations and meets performance benchmarks.
- Support platform upgrades, version control, and feature adoption in collaboration with architects and developers.
- Contribute to the creation and planning of sprints, working closely with the wider team.
- Provide governance and acceptance criteria for user stories and enhancements, ensuring the highest quality of development.
- Support API and integration requirements.
- Support the adoption of AI Assist and further AI initiatives, aligning with the wider business AI Innovation group.
- Engage with wider business and team leaders to gather requirements and ensure the platform meets their evolving needs.
- Contribute to external-facing innovations, such as customer portals.
- Support the User Forum and wider ServiceNow champions across the business.
What We're Looking For
- ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification.
- 3+ years of ServiceNow experience.
- ITIL experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strict attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with some guidance and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to build internal and external relationships and solve challenges, adept at communicating with technical and non-technical people.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Certified Agile Practitioner.

Team & Environment
You will contribute to the wider team of Architects, Senior Developers, and Administrators responsible for the platform and report to the Head of ServiceNow Enterprise Applications. You will also work closely with the wider IT, Business Systems, and Data teams.
