DSV was looking for a Service Owner

DSV is seeking a Service Owner to take end-to-end accountability for a portfolio of legal and governance-critical enterprise platforms, including OneTrust, Solusi, Simpler Legal, and Sterling VDR. You will act as the primary bridge between our Legal, Compliance, and IT departments, translating legal and regulatory requirements into stable, secure, and scalable IT services.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full service lifecycle (run, change, improve, retire) for assigned legal and governance platforms.
  • Ensure the availability, stability, security, and compliance of the services.
  • Act as the primary IT partner for DSV Legal, ensuring their requirements are understood and supported.
  • Translate legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements into service roadmaps, system configurations, and enhancements.
  • Drive incident, problem, and root cause management, including escalations.
  • Own change, release, and lifecycle management, ensuring minimal business risk.
  • Maintain service documentation, architecture overviews, and CMDB accuracy.
  • Manage vendors, contracts, SLAs, and service costs.
  • Ensure integrations and data flows meet legal, security, and compliance standards.
  • Identify automation and improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and control.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT service governance and operational maturity.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Service Owner, Application Manager, or similar role in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITIL) and operational governance.
  • Experience working with legal, compliance, risk, or governance-related platforms.
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to global enterprises (e.g., data privacy, contracts, regulatory compliance).
  • Ability to engage confidently with Legal professionals, understand their needs, and translate them into IT solutions.
  • Experience working in environments with high compliance and audit requirements.
  • Relevant higher education.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across Legal, IT, and external vendors.
  • Structured, analytical, and able to work with complex requirements.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions in a global setup.
  • Able to balance legal risk, technical feasibility, and operational stability.

Nice to Have

  • A legal background is an advantage, but not a requirement, if combined with strong practical experience and legal domain understanding.
