Wärtsilä is looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in Singapore. In this local-country role, you will be responsible for the overhauling, troubleshooting, and maintenance of governor systems for marine technology, ensuring the reliable performance of critical vessel equipment.
What You'll Do
- Ensure risk assessment is conducted at work and comply at all times with local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
- Perform governor overhauling according to the established work plan.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance for the governor test bench.
- Perform troubleshooting for governor hunting or leaking issues onboard vessels.
- Lead and manage your assigned team and related activities during work execution.
- Interact with customers during their visits for job inspection or auditing.
- Prepare an inspection report for the assigned work.
- Prepare and submit a Service Work Report to the customer after job completion according to Wärtsilä standards.
- Advise and promote available Wärtsilä products and services to customers.
