About the Role
The selected candidate will deliver timely and effective technical support to end users, diagnose and resolve system issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams with full documentation
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests in the ticketing system
- Guide users through troubleshooting steps using clear and accessible language
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up accounts and equipment
- Monitor system alerts and proactively address potential outages or performance issues
- Perform password resets and manage user access permissions
- Install, configure, and support desktop and laptop systems
- Support mobile devices including smartphones and tablets
- Deploy software updates and patches across the organization
- Troubleshoot printing and peripheral connectivity issues
- Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base
- Follow established ITIL-based incident and request management procedures
- Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection standards
- Collaborate with peer teams to resolve cross-functional technical problems
- Participate in after-hours support rotations as required
- Assist with periodic inventory of IT assets
- Provide feedback on recurring issues to support root cause analysis
- Maintain professionalism and empathy when interacting with users
