About the Role
The Senior/Staff Platform Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the infrastructure for a peer-to-peer platform, ensuring that it is scalable, reliable, and secure. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement and manage access control and identity management solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest infrastructure technologies and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for the infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain security best practices.
- Implement and manage logging and monitoring solutions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and optimizations.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and manage infrastructure automation solutions.
- Conduct regular capacity planning and resource management.
- Collaborate with the networking team to implement and maintain network infrastructure.
