Manifest is hiring a Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will be instrumental in building a resilient platform that supports our growing product needs.
What You'll Do
- Architect, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and deployment systems
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of production environments
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application performance and resource usage
- Drive incident response and post-mortem processes to improve system resilience
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role with increasing responsibility
- Deep, hands-on experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Proven track record of designing and managing CI/CD systems
- Strong background in containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Expertise in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Go
- Experience with monitoring and observability stacks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system reliability
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced scaling environment
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Background in site reliability engineering (SRE) principles
- Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical initiatives
