SAP Fioneer is looking for a (Senior/Expert) Consultant for our Financial Services Data Platform (FSDM). In this role, you will apply your deep data management and reporting expertise to guide Banking clients through their digital transformation. You will analyze needs, design and deploy data integration and management functionality, and create models to support analytical and reporting applications.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with clients to analyze their data management and reporting needs.
- Design, build, and deploy functionality for data integration and data management.
- Create data models that facilitate the integration of analytical applications and support reporting.
- Collaborate with teams such as Software Development and Sales to provide optimal solutions.
- Drive more efficient digital processes within the module functionalities for customers.
- Be a key contributor to both the implementation and further development of the module.
- Ensure solutions are seamlessly implemented and integrated into existing banking infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2-8 years of professional experience in IT transformation projects.
- 2+ years of experience designing data management processes for the banking sector.
- A solid understanding of the technical mapping of banking products within a banking data model.
- Knowledge of FSDM Conceptual and Physical data models.
- Basic experience configuring one of: SAP FSDM, SAP BW on HANA, or SAP BW/4HANA.
- Proficiency in both English and German for effective communication.
- Extensive knowledge of finance and accounting functions within banking and/or insurance, including accounting principles and regulatory standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, demonstrating leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and provide tailored solutions.
- Willingness to travel.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of working with other Data Modelling tools.
- Proficiency in data modeling with SQL, MySQL, SAP HANA, SAP IQ, or another database.
- Experience deploying Models or enhancements into customer landscapes.
- Experience with HANA Modelling (Flowgraphs, Calculation Views, Projections).
- Experience with Fioneer Financial Product Subledger (FPSL), Fioneer Financial Control, SAP S/4HANA Finance, or SAP Group Reporting.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role based in Munich, Walldorf, or Berlin. We are also open to candidates working remotely from any location in Germany or Austria.
