Jobgether is seeking a Senior WordPress Developer to design and implement custom, high-performance digital experiences. In this role, you will translate creative designs into seamless, responsive, and scalable WordPress themes, ensuring top-tier performance, accessibility, and code quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver websites that drive measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

Lead the development of custom WordPress themes and plugins using modern techniques such as Gutenberg blocks and ACF.
Ensure top Core Web Vitals performance by optimizing load times, database queries, and server-side performance.
Architect and manage complex API integrations with third-party platforms, including Salesforce CRM, Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce.
Build dynamic, conversion-optimized websites and landing pages aligned with business and marketing goals.
Write clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant code using HTML, CSS (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript/jQuery or modern frameworks.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and Git-based workflows for deployment and version control.
Configure and manage SEO and analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Yoast, to ensure compliance and visibility.
Uphold accessibility standards (WCAG) and lead code reviews to maintain best practices and mentor junior developers.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg block creation.
Deep knowledge of WordPress core, hooks, filters, and security best practices.
Experience building fully responsive and accessible web solutions.
Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL optimization, and relational database management.
Proficiency with CI/CD, Docker, and major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Next.js) for headless WordPress projects.
Proven record of implementing CRM or e-commerce platform integrations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate transparently within project teams.
Leadership in establishing coding standards and mentoring junior developers.
