Felix is looking for a Senior Visual Designer to lead the design of our marketing website, crafting a site that is both effective and beautiful. You will work at the intersection of product design and brand design to create engaging web experiences that resonate with users.
What You'll Do
- Own the design of the marketing website, including core pages, ad landing pages, navigation, and information architecture.
- Collaborate with product managers and marketers to translate opportunities and insights into clear, simple, and beautiful designs.
- Work with engineers to ensure designs are implemented successfully.
- Apply, and at times evolve, the Felix brand (colour, typography, motion, photography) to deliver a cohesive brand experience.
- Communicate design approach rationale clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in website design, ideally in consumer-facing environments.
- Deep understanding of website design, from layouts and UX patterns to web capabilities.
- Exceptional taste and intuitive understanding of aesthetics across facets like typography, colour, and motion.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Passion for improving the lives of Canadians through better health care.
Team & Environment
You'll join a small team of passionate designers and collaborate with the broader R&D organization, reporting to the Director of Design.
