Baptist Health is looking for a Senior Unified Communication Engineer to provide expert support for our telephony infrastructure. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining unified communications systems across our environment while interfacing directly with users and partners.
What You'll Do
- Provide support for telephony systems, including provisioning equipment and interfacing with users and partners.
- Install, configure, deploy, support, monitor, and maintain various systems and technologies.
- Provide off-hours operational support as necessary.
- Work varied hours and locations based on organizational needs, which can include nights and/or weekends.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Voice over IP fundamentals, IT, and Networking, with a focus in Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Contact Center, and WebEx.
- Experience with 3rd-party integrations related to PBX (attendant console), IVR, call recording, and reporting platforms.
- Keen attention to detail and a focus on accuracy while maintaining confidentiality.
- Effective problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with management, co-workers, end-users, vendors, and partners.
- The ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner and research, analyze, and implement software and hardware changes.
- The ability to work well remotely and onsite, both individually and as part of a team.
- The ability to exchange information clearly and concisely, respond to frequent demands of multiple customers, and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities based on need.
Nice to Have
- An Associate's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
