About the Role
The Senior Test Analyst will lead testing initiatives to ensure software reliability and performance, working across the development lifecycle to identify risks, improve quality, and support delivery of robust solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on technical and business requirements
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to validate system functionality
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue management tools
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects
- Participate in requirement reviews to provide early feedback on testability
- Design and implement performance testing scenarios where applicable
- Ensure testing aligns with defined quality standards and project timelines
- Conduct regression testing to verify system stability after changes
- Work closely with project stakeholders to understand scope and objectives
- Support continuous integration and delivery processes through reliable test coverage
- Validate API endpoints and integration points between systems
- Maintain accurate records of test execution and outcomes
- Contribute to test environment setup and configuration
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria for user stories
- Promote best practices in software testing across the team
- Evaluate risks related to software quality and propose mitigation strategies
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning and retrospectives
- Monitor test progress and report on key quality metrics
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security testing requirements
- Stay current with evolving testing tools and methodologies
- Mentor junior team members in test design and execution
- Validate user interface components for consistency and usability
- Perform end-to-end testing across integrated platforms
- Assess patch and upgrade impacts through targeted test cycles
- Contribute to post-release validation and production support checks
