About the Role

Abbott is hiring a Senior Territory Sales Executive for the Nellore territory. This role is pivotal to the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products by servicing a defined customer base and achieving ambitious volume targets.

What You'll Do

  • Create a territory business plan to achieve targets by driving market traffic and optimizing product availability.
  • Identify potential towns, appoint distributors, and allocate ISRs based on market potential.
  • Facilitate hiring, induction, training, and coaching of ISRs to ensure alignment with company processes and high retention.
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships to uncover needs, drive orders, and increase SKU variety stocked.
  • Conduct daily sales calls to coach your team, increase orders, check stock levels, and ensure proper merchandising.
  • Negotiate customer contracts that deliver on account objectives while satisfying customer needs.
  • Ensure shops are merchandised and maintain Key SKUs per Abbott expectations.
  • Demonstrate the superiority of Abbott products from the customer’s perspective.
  • Influence customers to maintain proper stock balance and credit relative to accounts receivable.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of channel performance and create action plans to address lagging channels.
  • Influence distributors to carry adequate stock and adhere to route plans for promotion implementation.
  • Ensure adequate daily stock replenishment to meet targets through accurate forecasting.
  • Build a quality customer database, detailed territory information, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Integrate the digital customer’s journey with the customer lifecycle to support demand creation and retention.
  • Act in alignment with compliance and regulatory expectations.

This is a local-country, remote position based in India.
