**About Molecule** Molecule is modern, cloud-based software that simplifies energy and commodity trading. We help trading companies manage risk, streamline operations, and gain clarity into their positions, all through powerful, intuitive technology — and we're growing fast! **What We're Looking For** We're hiring a **Sr. Technical Writer** to build and lead our documentation practice. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves transforming complex information into crystal-clear content and wants to shape how we communicate knowledge across the company. You'll be our documentation architect, establishing writing standards and owning content across our product, customer support, and internal knowledge base. As the first dedicated writer on the team, you'll play a pivotal role in how we share knowledge both externally and internally, empowering our users, support team, and even our AI-powered chatbots. **What You'll Do** • **Create and maintain** clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for Molecule's software products (e.g., user guides, API references, how-to articles). • **Establish and standardize** a content governance model to create consistent writing style, tone, and templates for all product documentation. • **Collaborate cross-functionally** with Product, Engineering, and especially Customer Success to capture new knowledge and transform it into accessible documentation. • **Develop internal documentation** to enable smooth onboarding experiences, streamline technical support practices, and facilitate internal knowledge sharing. • **Write chatbot-ready content**, ensuring knowledge base articles are structured and optimized for conversational AI platforms. • **Iterate and evolve** documentation based on feedback from users, internal teams, performance analytics, and emerging AI capabilities. • **Own the documentation stack**, including tools like Slab and others, to establish an efficient and scalable content publication pipeline. **What You Bring** • 4+ years of experience as a technical writer in SaaS, enterprise software, or a related industry. • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. • Experience establishing or scaling a documentation system or knowledge base. • Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to different audiences. • Strong collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams. • Familiarity with chatbot or AI knowledge optimization is a plus. • Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Guru, Slab, GitHub, etc.). • Bonus: experience working in energy trading or with support automation/chatbot platforms. **Why Molecule** • A mission-driven team reshaping the energy industry. • Opportunity to define and build a critical function from the ground up. • Remote-first work culture with flexibility and autonomy. • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits.
