About the Role
The individual in this role will be responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, API references, and online help systems, using structured authoring tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage technical documentation for software products
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system functionality
- Translate technical details into user-friendly content
- Maintain documentation accuracy across product updates
- Use structured writing frameworks such as DITA
- Work with version control systems for content management
- Follow defined style guides and terminology standards
- Produce content for multiple audiences and use cases
- Support localization and translation workflows
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to improve documentation
- Create diagrams and illustrations to complement written content
- Participate in agile development cycles
- Contribute to improvements in documentation processes
- Ensure consistency across product documentation
- Manage documentation timelines and deliverables
- Work with product managers to align content with release schedules
- Use authoring tools such as XML editors and content management systems
- Support self-service knowledge bases and online help portals
- Review peer content for clarity and technical accuracy
- Stay current with industry trends in technical communication
Nice to Have
- Experience with DITA or other modular content frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies

- Experience using Jira and Confluence
