Escape Velocity Entertainment Inc is hiring a Senior Technical Sound Designer | North America | Canada | Europe | Fully Remote

What we are looking for: We are seeking a Senior Tech Sound Designer who will report to the Audio Director. Requirements What we will do together: • Collaborate with audio designers and cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and implement audio systems • Create and integrate audio systems using middleware like Audiokinetic Wwise and/or Unreal Engine 5 • Partner with various disciplines to ensure audio enhances gameplay experiences • Work with audio teams and project producers to define deliverables, identify dependencies, maintain documentation, and manage project scope • Engage with Audio and Core Tech teams to develop, document, and optimize internal audio technologies • Collaborate across teams to ensure optimal audio performance through profiling and testing • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation • Serve as a positive representative for the audio team internally and externally What you will bring: • Demonstrated experience in game audio implementation and mixing • Track record of game development with Unreal + Wwise, or involvement in near-completion AAA project • Exceptional communication and mentoring capabilities • Deep understanding of technical audio design, implementation, and optimization within middleware and game engines • Comprehensive knowledge of game audio workflow and interdisciplinary interactions • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4/5 and Blueprints • Expertise in Audio Middleware (preferably Audiokinetic Wwise) • Ability to adapt to varying console and format requirements • Experience with source control software like P4V • Strong background in Audio Design for games or related media • Scripting capabilities Benefits Our team comprises passionate, talented developers working on a potentially career-defining project.
