Loancrate is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager

About the Role

The role involves owning product strategy and execution for core technical platforms, guiding complex initiatives from concept to launch while aligning with business goals and user needs.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and roadmap for technical platforms
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to scope and prioritize development work
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
  • Lead discovery efforts to validate product assumptions and user needs
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of product features
  • Identify and resolve technical dependencies and blockers
  • Work with data teams to measure product performance and impact
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensure product scalability, reliability, and security
  • Drive adoption of best practices in agile product development
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform product decisions
  • Maintain comprehensive product documentation
  • Support incident response and post-mortem processes
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration
  • Represent product interests in architectural discussions
  • Coordinate with compliance teams to meet regulatory standards
  • Mentor junior product team members
  • Participate in roadmap planning and quarterly goal setting
  • Gather and synthesize user feedback for iterative improvement
  • Balance technical debt with feature development
  • Oversee API design and integration strategies
  • Ensure alignment with company-wide platform initiatives
  • Manage risk in product delivery timelines
  • Champion user-centric design in technical implementations
  • Drive cross-team alignment on shared systems

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline
  • Experience in mortgage or lending technology
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in financial products
  • Product management certification (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Institute)
  • Hands-on coding experience or software development background
  • Experience scaling systems to handle high transaction volumes
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Track record in building developer-facing products
  • Experience with third-party integration ecosystems
  • Background in user authentication and access control systems
