Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily operation and management of multiple platforms and computing environments
- Assist internal teams with their computing needs and resource provisioning
- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages
- Keep servers, network devices, and storage systems updated and protected against vulnerabilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, coordinating with vendors when necessary
- Respond promptly to system alerts and support tickets from monitoring systems
- Identify and execute enhancements to infrastructure and operational workflows
- Improve and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions for system performance and uptime
- Enforce security standards, harden systems, and ensure compliance across all infrastructure components
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures
