Responsibilities
- Manage and support IIS 10 web servers hosting .NET-based applications
- Set up and maintain website bindings, configurations, backups, and version control
- Resolve issues related to application pools, virtual directories, and worker processes
- Deploy and manage SSL certificates, authentication methods, and access restrictions
- Address performance, deployment, and runtime problems in IIS and ASP.NET environments
- Support cloud-based services on Azure, including Functions and multi-language runtimes
- Monitor system health and performance using native Azure monitoring solutions
- Handle application deployments through automation tools like Octopus Deploy
- Automate routine system operations using PowerShell and additional scripting languages
- Assist with MS SQL Server support and coordinate with database administrators
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016 and 2019 environments
- Follow ITIL frameworks for incident, change, and problem management; ITIL certification is a plus
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
- Develop and support containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose
- Work with orchestration platforms including Jenkins, Octopus, Docker, and Kubernetes
