CloudLinux Inc. is hiring a Senior Support Engineer- Imunify Specialized Support (remote-only opportunity)

About the Role

This role involves delivering high-level technical support for a cybersecurity solution, diagnosing intricate system issues, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely resolutions and improve product stability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for a server security platform
  • Diagnose and resolve complex software and system-level issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand and address technical problems
  • Collaborate with development teams to escalate and resolve bugs
  • Document technical issues and solutions in internal systems
  • Analyze logs and system behavior to identify root causes
  • Support customers across different time zones
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats and mitigation techniques
  • Assist in improving support documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in on-call rotations for urgent issue resolution
  • Troubleshoot integration issues with third-party software
  • Work with quality assurance teams to reproduce reported issues
  • Follow structured processes for case management and resolution
  • Escalate critical issues according to defined protocols
  • Contribute to product improvement suggestions based on customer feedback

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting security software products
  • Knowledge of kernel-level debugging and system internals
  • Familiarity with Python or PHP scripting
  • Exposure to cloud hosting environments such as AWS or DigitalOcean
  • Understanding of SSL/TLS and certificate management
  • Experience with automated deployment and configuration tools
  • Background in incident handling or SOC operations
  • Certifications in cybersecurity or system administration
