Envision is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to safeguard our multi-cloud environments. You'll implement and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.
What You'll Do
- Monitor cloud environments and assist in responding to incidents and alerts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices and controls into the deployment and development lifecycle.
- Assist in conducting regular security assessments, control verifications, and vulnerability mitigations.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of cloud security policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Assist in administering security and security awareness training to IT and business users.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of general IT experience with a working knowledge of security concepts and frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, STEM, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- Firm understanding of general cloud computing concepts.
- Knowledge of security concepts and frameworks, cloud administration consoles and CLI, virtualization platforms, networking, client and server operating systems, and database concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability periodically for on-call or after-hours support.
Nice to Have
- Real-world experience with at least one major cloud platform.
- Scripting and/or application development experience.
