Arup is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural engineering design teams and contribute to impactful building projects across Ireland and Europe, with a focus on sustainable and resilient design.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage structural engineering design teams, delivering projects from concept to construction.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary design partners, ensuring seamless integration of structural designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, and specifications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Represent Arup at client meetings, offering expert advice and developing innovative solutions.
- Champion sustainable design practices, contributing to a more resilient built environment.
What We're Looking For
- Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) with a proven track record in delivering complex structural engineering projects.
- Minimum 7 years of post-graduate experience in structural design.
- Strong technical skills and experience in all aspects of building structures, from conceptual design to construction.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant design software packages.
