Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize firmware for prototypes, new features, and new product certification processes.
- Lead and contribute to R&D initiatives targeting improvements in test process yield and test time.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented firmware [C] and software [Python] solutions.
- Analyze test data to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and execute test plans for validation, reliability testing, and compliance verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to mass production.
- Document technical findings and present results to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in both C and Python programming languages and data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Engineering development experience in the hard disk drive (HDD) industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive and self-driven with a passion for innovation and success.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with HDD cert test process engineering concepts.
- Good experience with data analytics tools and statistical analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
