WSP USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist - Technical Services to join our team. This technically versatile consultant role supports API management, digital delivery, data, and AI initiatives, ensuring continuity of operations while providing hands-on technical support and contributing to strategic technology projects in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver hands-on support for Azure cloud infrastructure, endpoint registration, connectivity validation, troubleshooting, and related cloud engineering tasks.
- Develop and maintain internal and client-facing tools, APIs, and integration workflows.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coverage and continuity during leadership absences.
- Monitor and respond to API usage and performance issues.
- Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and ramp-up of technical initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related software/IT roles.
- Proficiency in development and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure, including API Management and related services.
- Strong familiarity with API design and development, including Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in both an operations and a consulting role.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data engineering, including ETL pipelines and data modeling.
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and model deployment using tools like Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML Studio, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of data platforms and orchestration tools such as Spark, Databricks, Airflow, or Pandas.
- Knowledge of open data standards.
- Prior exposure to infrastructure or transportation-related technical environments.
- Ability to support technical strategy and produce complete documentation.
- Previous experience as a technical lead for cloud, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.
- Practical understanding and use of AI-assisted development tools and practices.
