Mastek is looking for a Senior Specialist I to join our team in a senior developer capacity. This role requires a professional with a strong growth mindset who excels in communication and collaboration, thriving within a DevOps culture while providing guidance to other team members.
What You'll Do
- Work effectively within a DevOps culture, emphasizing collaboration and communication.
- Guide and mentor other team members.
- Design, build, and maintain services using Kotlin/Java, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
- Build and manage robust continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Implement and manage core AWS services to create scalable solutions.
- Apply strong security principles within the AWS environment.
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A demonstrable growth mindset.
- Proficiency or understanding of core AWS services: S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudWatch.
- Fluency in Kotlin/Java, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
- Significant SQL experience and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
- Strong understanding of security principles within AWS, including RBAC, principle of least privilege, securely storing credentials with Secrets Manager/KMS, and handling sensitive data.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git and GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of services like AWS Step Functions to implement complex workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Docker and ECS.
- Good understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Familiarity with the Angular framework.
