Responsibilities
- The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering organization is responsible for the technical sale of the Cloudflare solutions portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design, and efficient adoption roadmaps for our customers.
- As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare.
- You will aid your customers and work closely with every team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product to Engineering and Customer Support.
- Your goal of customer success should drive you through the entire organization as you seek out and create scalable solutions for your customer’s needs.
- Technology moves at lightning speed; a broad knowledge of Internet performance and security technologies is required, and the curiosity to maintain and develop new knowledge is essential to keeping up with the high rate of product innovation at Cloudflare.
Requirements
- 5-to-10 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Fluent in Ukrainian and English
- Deep understanding of TCP vs. UDP, why it matters and why it's so critical from security point of view
- Solid understanding of DDoS mitigation strategies at Layers 3, 4, and 7 to prevent services disruption.
- Previous experience in a technical consulting or SE role, with a track record of demonstrating ROI to CTOs and Infrastructure Leads.
- Ability to manage complex Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and prioritize between competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation skills with a strong command of business English.
- Familiarity with the competitive landscape for CDN, Zero-Trust, and SASE providers.
- Ability to travel to customer sites, industry events and internal summits.
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, Python, or Rust, and a desire to help customers build the next generation of serverless features on Cloudflare Workers.
- Exposure to emerging trends such as Zero Trust for securing internal employees traffic or remote-work environments.
